Maybe, Just Maybe, I've Found a Church
When I moved to Memphis, I didn't look for a permanent church home since I didn't think I would be here long term. I've visited a lot of churches (probably over 70 since I've been here), and had one that I spent more than my fair share at, but it just didn't feel like home at any of them. Ironically, there was one that I thought about trying at first that I didn't because a girl I knew from Minnesota moved down here and went there. Silly, huh?
Well, Sarah and I tried it out today, and we're going to attend again this evening. I'm thinking of making it my church home - it is First Assembly of God of Memphis. At least I think that's what they call themselves!
Anyways, here's hoping I can get plugged in.

I'm Thankful to be So Busy
I'm the busiest I've ever been in my life, and I both love and hate it.
There are a few reasons that I love being busy:
There are a few reasons that I love being busy:
- A strong sense of gratitude. I'm thankful for a fantastic girlfriend, agood job, a strong company, the best family relations I've enjoyed in years, and my latest venture, RadiatorsGalore.com.
- A realization that there are a lot of people in this country who would love to have a job to be busy at. We're at close to 20% unemployment now if you look at reality and not fudged numbers from the government.
- Anticipation for the future. When we stay keep our noses clean, stay busy, and work both smartly and diligently, good things normally come. There are exceptions to this, but they prove the rule.
- I'm not good at it! You're looking at a person always trying to improve their level of organization because they feel like they're in over their head.
- Being busy can consume you and cause you to take family off the priority list.
- I enjoy peace. The older I get, the more I like simplicity and peace. Perhaps I should pray for my business to be peaceful?

Wondering About the Future
I've been thinking about the future a lot. Our engine sales business is doing well. I've started another company selling radiators. It's sold a few, but it really isn't ready to go at it full hog. I'm excited for the possibilities offered by this radiator company... but I'm also very nervous. It's very easy to think that something will work. Logically if you put work into something, research the market, and hit it hard, the venture should be fine. At the point the planning takes over and you lose control the hard part is upon you.
Pray for me, my friends. I'm a bit nervous.
